Department of pharmaceutics has been quite remarkable in its achievements in the form of attracting talented students for master’s program; for undertaking innovative and useful student projects, publications and attracting research funds. The department has excellent laboratory facilities which include HPLC, Minipress II MT tablet punching machine, 8 station Dissolution Apparatus, UV Visible Spectroscopy etc. It also has good library facilities that include latest edition of books in pharmaceutics and has subscribed well known journals in the subject area. The department has well qualified, experienced faculty members with sufficient exposure to modern industrial practices. The college is working strategically to place pharmaceutics as its priority area. It also aims to attract highly talented students for its research programs.
There are about 30 students granted with M Pharm degree since 2011 in the pharmaceutics department. The goal of the department is to produce competent industrial pharmacist.
